Hey Guys!
Today was my final rehearsal for the school play. This year we are doing Robin Hood and I am very nervous. The first performance is on Wednesday night, I missed all my afternoon lessons today for our final rehearsal, though I was happy about this, it has just dawned on me that I have one day left!!!
I play Little John (ironically I am 5'10"). I love my part, though I wish I could say the same for my costume! It consists mainly of black trousers, tights, black shoes, a sack, a belt, safety pinned on cut up pieces of fur, a hood, war paint (shoe polish) and very bad hair... Unlike my costume, my lines are utterly brilliant, to give you an idea, my last line is "Let's crush his bones". There is much joy in saying this without offending anyone directly. First rehearsal when I said it (in a strangely low voice for a girl...) everyone stared at me, then presently burst out laughing. It is hard not to laugh too, but I have got considerably better over the last term!
The only real downside is that I have discovered I cannot 'roar'! It's weird! I have to jump on and roar, and I sound pathetic! But whatever, I don't think anyone will notice, they will only be looking at my 'amazing' costume...so I'm all good.
Wish me luck for Wednesday!!!

Strictly Come Dancing
Hey Guys.
I know this is my second post today but whatever. Anybody from England will know Strictly Come Dancing is on at the moment (if your in America the equivalent is Dancing with the Stars).
I'm loving the couples that are in the final! Matt Baker is an amazing dancer generally with all the qualities of an acrobat, athletic dancer. Pamela Stevenson is amazing for her age! She has so much talent and her skill work is incredible. Though Kara Tointon is a very good dancer, I don't want her to win, I don't know why. There is just something about her that I don't like... Ok ok, I know she is talented and probably is going to win, but this is just my opinion.
My mum is rooting for Pamela and I am rooting for Matt, I was over the moon when he got through to the finals! My favourite dance he did was the one in round one, it was amazing! Below is the video:
Let me know your favourite and why! Don't forget to follow me :)

Spoilt?
Hey Guys.
Here's my first official post. It is a piece I wrote about my dog, I don't know whether to send it off to a newspaper or not. Comments and views welcome!
Spoilt?
You may have heard of John Grogan. He wrote the bestselling book, Marley and Me. His book and his columns in the New York Times were about his dog, the worst behaved dog in the world. Fortunately I do not have the worst behaved dog in the world but, one that gets away with almost anything.
When puppies come into your life, they have the ability to get away with anything because of their eyes and cute faces. Normally as dogs grow up they lose this ability, as they tend to lose the puppy cuteness (but not in the owner’s eyes).
Unfortunately my dog has managed not to lose the puppy cuteness and the big eyes. The size of him doesn’t help either. He jumps on the sofa and gets away with it. He begs at the table and gets away with it. He is probably spoilt, but if you are thinking, “No. Spoilt is dressing dogs up in jumpers and bandanas”. You are wrong it is a common mistake; see, you are mixing up spoiling a dog, with animal cruelty.
My family and I know we should stop but you don’t know what those eyes do to you! We keep making excuses saying, “He’s still a puppy in our eyes” or “He’s only three!”, even we know he is actually twenty-one in dog years. So, if you see a cute, three year old, big eyed border terrier in your area. Don’t be fooled. He’s a menace in disguise.

This is me
Hi Everyone!
This is my first blog, so not sure what to do. Well first of a all I am going to introduce myself. My name is Maia and I have one thing to say, I am a dreamer. I will lie in bed at night a dream about stuff before I am even asleep. I may only be 14 but I have a lot to say, just ask my friends.
Ok, let me cut straight to the point, I want to be famous. I know what you are probably thinking, "oh just another wanna-be singer or something". Don't judge me. I don't want to be an actress or singer or a glamour model or something annoying like that. I want to be a journalist, namely a columnist or a car journalist. I love to write (well dur).
I want people to know my name when they read a newspaper or a car magazine, I want people to talk about me in a nice way, and not just for the hell of it. I will write a blog as often as I can and keep you posted with what's happening in my world. I will write mini stories for you to read and columns that newspapers have rejected, or not...
Anyway comment and ask me anything.
Thankyou
Maia x
